Their lives haven't been portrayed on the big screen by the hottest Hollywood action heroes or characterized in the pages of trendy comic books, but our drivers have something of which to be proud. From actual life-saving interventions to calling tow trucks for stranded motorists, our drivers routinely assist the people in the communities they serve.
A Community Partnership Program
The Republic Services "We're Looking Out For You" program is a crime prevention and safety enforcement initiative that enlists the active particpation of our drivers, in cooperation with law enforcement and emergency services, to reduce crime and maintain neighborhood safety.
Our drivers have been trained to observe and report any suspicious events, crimes in progress, traffic accidents and other emergency situations. If a NSA dispatcher receives an emergency call from a driver, the dispatcher will in turn notify the proper authorities of the location and circumstance.
So you always know how to find us for assistance, a recognizable and highly visible decal will be conspicuously placed on each of our participating vehicles. We are hoping that these decals will also let the "bad guys" know we ALL have an eye out for them too.
