The Allen County Waste Watcher web site gives detailed information on the location and hours of operation for the sites, as well as information about what can be recycled and where. You may also reach them by telephone at (260) 449-7878.

Single-Stream Recycling Information
With single-stream recycling, you no longer have to sort your recyclables into two separate bins. New, convenient, yellow-top Serv-All carts can handle all of your recyclables – including plastics #1 through #7.
If you currently recycle using the standard brown and yellow bins, single-stream recycling represents an exciting and bold new future for recycling. Single-stream replaces those bins with a single, larger and easier-to-maneuver yellow-top cart. No more bending over and lifting of heavy bins. No more sorting of materials into separate, proper bins. One cart handles everything. Now, just wheel your single-stream cart out to be picked up and emptied automatically. The same recycling do's and don'ts apply – except with single-stream recycling, more plastics may be included.
By making recycling easier and more convenient, single-stream increases both the number of people who recycle and the amount that they recycle. Which is a very good thing, because when we recycle, we lessen our dependence on foreign oil and re-use more of what we already have.
We've instituted small single-stream programs in areas around northeast Indiana, including the City of New Haven, all with promising results. It's our hope and our plan to make single-stream recycling available to all residents in our service area soon.
